Once it has been manufactured, our engineers will complete a series of checks and assessments on your air handling unit called a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT). This verifies that the components and installation match the design, that the unit is configured correctly, and that it meets design specifications such as HTM03:01, VDI6022, and BS EN1866. This takes place both during and after final assembly. Our team will also test the fan rotation and vibration, complete an air tightness test, a filter DOP test, and a point-to-point electrical test. They’ll also provide training for your site engineers on how to change motors, filters, and safely remove the door guard. Completing a FAT will assure you that your new air handling unit safe to use and will operate as specified.
