net zero carbon

The 2016 Paris Agreement established that, to mitigate the effects of climate change, the global temperature increase above pre-industrial levels will need to be limited to 1.5°C. Action will be required from governments, companies, and individuals to curb the crisis. At ECE UK we are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and adjusting our processes to ensure we are operating in an eco-conscious manner. We have implemented new ways of working, such as going completely paperless and empowering more employees to work from home to reduce our facility’s energy requirements. We are also reducing the length of our supply chain to only use products manufactured in the UK and, where possible, within thirty miles of us. Over the next seven years we will be implementing ultra-low emission vehicles and integrating renewable heating and electricity sources for our Kent factory to meet our transport and energy needs sustainably.
